About Emily Chapman

Emily Chapman is a student at Emory University. At Emory, she's been at various times an RA, a Political Science 101 TA, and a director of the Vagina Monologues. Now she works in the computing center. She's a thrift store enthusiast with a deep-seated love of red shoes. In her free time, she can be found commenting on Jezebel and Lifehacker (about feminism and macs, respectively), tweeting prodigiously, posting YouTube videos to Tumblr, and playing the banjo. She maintains the HackCollege Twitter account.

Hack College is Emily's first professional blogging opportunity. Given that her parents tried to teach her Python before the age of 12, it is a logical progression of her life thus far.
