I am a fan of the site and these cool videos, but wouldn't it just be easier to buy a cheap coffee maker?

@Anon: I had the shirt custom made at Neighborhoodies. It is a reference to Fight Club, kind of.

@Damond: Depends. I find that coffee makers tend to make crappy tasting coffee after a while (due to build-up). This method takes a little bit longer every day, but you don't have to clean anything out every 2 weeks with a special solution. Everyone has their own way of making coffee :)

Or use a French Press - and avoid having to buy filters. All glass and metal instead of paper and plastic, too.

I had a nice single-cup French press at one point. I dropped it on the ground. No more French press :(
