Hangovers Officially Cured by Science?

Everything you've ever read or heard about curing hangovers is officially moot. A professor at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia induced hangovers in rats (yes, rats), and discovered that a combination of coffee and aspirin blocks the pain-causing acetate that is formed by the ethanol in the alcohol.  

I'm sure this claim has been made countless times in the past, so take your pills with a grain of salt.  If it's not working for you, try nibbling on some burnt toast as you down the coffee.
