HackCollege is Going to the Imagine Cup!

I'll be shipping off to New York on Friday for the 2011 edition of the Imagine Cup, Microsoft's student software competition. Over 350,000 student software engineers from 183 countries have been competing for nearly a year to earn an invitation to the worldwide final, and a few hundred finalists will be in the Big Apple for the Worldwide Final. This year's theme is "Imagine a World Where Technology Helps Solve the Toughest Problems," and it should be very interesting to see the applications students have come up with.

Special thanks goes out to Microsoft for flying me out and putting me up in a hotel. I'll be there from Friday until next Wednesday, so keep checking the site for updates from the event and profiles of some of the teams. If you want more frequent updates, feel free to follow me on Twitter or Google+ as well, I'll do my best to keep them updated.
